Where do your dried mealworms come from?

All of our dried mealworms are imported from China as are all of the other dried mealworms for sale in the UK. Unlike other sellers though that purely buy the cheapest dried mealworms available when they need them we have long standing relationships with our suppliers. This means that we are just as focused on the quality of the mealworms and how they are bred as we are about the price. How much is delivery?

To Launch our website and get things of to a flying start we are offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders to the whole of Australia!

All orders are sent via an insured and tracked service and we will email out the tracking details to you when an order ships. All orders should ship within 1 business day of the order being placed and are shipped out of Sydney so shipping times depend on your location relative to us.

Do you deliver to New Zealand?

We hope to be able to ship to New Zealand very soon but regret that we cannot do this right now. If you drop us an email to sales@chubbymealworms.com.au if you want dried mealworms in New Zealand we can let you know as soon as we offer this service.

Who do you use for delivery?

We use Fastway Couriers they offer a great Australian wide delivery network backed up by the latest computer technology, online parcel track and trace facilities, making Fastway Couriers the ideal choice for us.

What if I am not in for delivery?

Royal Mail - If you are not in when Royal Mail come to deliver and the item won't fit through your letter box they should either leave the package in a safe place or with a neighbour if possible. If this option is not available they should leave a card instructing you of how to re-arrange delivery or to collect the item from your local post / sorting office. The process will be the same for whatever other items you have delivered from Royal Mail.

DPD - As long as you have provided us with a valid email or phone number when you place your order DPD should have been in touch with you several times before they actually attempt delivery. You should first get a message when the order leaves us advising you that you have a delivery on its way along with the estimated delivery date. At this point you are given several options to change the delivery if you need to. On the morning of the delivery you should then be sent a 1 hour time slot in which your order should be delivered. Again you are given the option at this stage to re-arrange delivery or to give instructions on where the order can be left safe. If for whatever reason after all of these messages you still miss the deliver you should get a card through advising you of how to re-arrange delivery for free. We find that this information that DPD provides ensures a fantastic delivery experience!

Yes! there are no hidden charges here - the price you see is the final price!

Who do you use for delivery?

In the UK we generally send all orders under 2Kg via Royal Mail and all orders over this via DPD courier. Options are given to you at checkout for a faster delivery service if you need an order super quickly.

DPD used to have a not so great reputation in the UK but over the last few years they have really now become the courier that others want to copy! Make sure you supply your correct email and / or mobile number at checkout and DPD will get in touch to advise you of a 1 hour delivery window on the day of delivery.
